Start Here: Quick Chromebook Checks

  • Restart your Chromebook

Performance & Slow Chromebook Fixes

  • Close unused tabs
  • Remove heavy extensions
  • Restart the device
  • Check for updates
  • Clear browsing data
  • Disable animations in Accessibility settings
  • Powerwash (factory reset) if the system is severely sluggish

Keyboard, Touchpad & Touchscreen Issues

  • Restart the Chromebook
  • Press Search + Esc to open Task Manager
  • Check for stuck keys
  • Turn off accessibility features like Sticky Keys
  • For touchscreen: clean the screen and remove screen protectors
  • Powerwash if the issue persists

Update & Reset Options

Update ChromeOS

  • Settings → About ChromeOS → Check for updates

Powerwash (Factory Reset)

  • Settings → Advanced → Reset Settings → Powerwash

Printing from Chromebook

  • Ensure the printer supports Wi‑Fi or modern printing standards
  • Connect the printer to the same network
  • Add the printer in Settings → Advanced → Printing
  • Restart both the printer and Chromebook

Account & Sync Problems
