Error Code What It Means Fix
0x1A – MEMORY_MANAGEMENT Windows detected memory corruption. Run a memory test, reseat RAM, disable XMP/overclock.
0x12B – MEMORY_MANAGEMENT Severe memory corruption. Test each RAM stick individually, try different motherboard slots.
0x50 – PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA RAM returned invalid data. Remove overclock, check RAM timings, run memory diagnostics.
0x7E – SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED Memory access violation. Check RAM temperature, test RAM stability.
0x8E – KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED CPU tried to read bad memory. Test RAM, reset BIOS to defaults, check for corrupted SPD data.
0x124 – WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR Hardware error (RAM, CPU, or memory controller). Lower XMP/overclock, test RAM, check CPU and motherboard stability.
0x9C – MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION CPU detected ECC or parity failure. Check ECC logs (if available), test RAM, inspect motherboard.
ECC Correctable Error Single‑bit memory error fixed automatically. Monitor error count, improve cooling, replace RAM if errors increase.
ECC Uncorrectable Error Multi‑bit memory corruption. Replace RAM, check motherboard memory controller.
Parity Error RAM returned mismatched parity bits. Replace RAM, inspect motherboard traces and slots.
