iPad Storage Cleanup Helper
Free up space on your iPad safely. Work through each step to find what is taking up space and how to clear it.

1Check how much storage you have left▼How to check your storage:
- Go to Settings → General → iPad Storage
- Wait a few seconds for it to load
- You will see a bar showing used vs available space

2Check what is using the most space▼
In Settings → General → iPad Storage, you will see a list of apps with how much space each uses.

3Clear photos and videos▼
Photos are usually the biggest storage user on iPads.
Steps to free up photo space:- Enable iCloud Photos — Settings → Photos → iCloud Photos — this stores photos in the cloud and keeps smaller versions on the device
- Delete photos and videos you no longer need
- Empty the Recently Deleted album — deleted photos stay there for 30 days still using space
- Delete downloaded videos from streaming apps like Netflix

4Offload or delete unused apps▼iPad can automatically offload apps you don’t use:
- Go to Settings → General → iPad Storage
- Tap Enable next to “Offload Unused Apps”
- Or manually tap each app in the list → Offload App (keeps documents) or Delete App

5Clear messages, cache and other storage▼Additional ways to free space:
- Messages: Settings → Messages → Keep Messages → change to 30 Days or 1 Year
- Safari cache: Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data
- Streaming apps: Delete downloaded shows and music from Netflix, Spotify, Apple Music
- iCloud storage: If you need more space consider upgrading iCloud storage plan
